November 2008
STUDENT OF THE MONTH

Jason Kasari

Each month, one student is chosen by Sensei Brian to be honored as the "Student of the Month."  This individual must demonstrate the values taught in the dojo: Strength in the body, knowledge in the mind, and courage and honesty in the heart.  They must show great spirit and effort in their moves, and respect for their fellow students and senseis.

This month's Student of the Month is Jason Kasari.  Jason is a Purple II student who will be testing for his brown belt in January.  With a high level of commitment to his training, Jason performs in demos, competes in tournaments, assists in many lower belt classes every week, and helps out with Bushido Service Club projects, all while maintaining high attendance in his own classes, attending any workshop or special class he can, training regularly on his own, working out and preparing diligently for his brown belt test.  In each of his activities at the dojo, Jason shows respect towards his sensei and fellow students, works well with younger children and adults alike, and takes pride in doing his best all of the time.

Congratulations Jason, thank you for all your hard work!!!
