Elise - 1st place in a gigantic traditional forms division with a rock solid Heian Godan.

Garrett - 3rd place in a very strong traditional forms division, with an awesome Heian Yodan.

Hunter - 1st place in a large traditional forms divison; 3rd place in a tough weapons division that included black belts.

Nate - 2nd place in traditional forms.

Max - Did a spirited Bossai Dai in a huge traditional forms division and was part of a 4-way tie for 3rd place; got 5th place.

Devon - 1st place in weapons (against multiple black belts); 1st place in sparring; 3rd place in traditional forms.

Jordan - 2nd place in weapons; 2nd place in sparring; 2nd place in traditional forms (against multiple black belts)

Keegan - Was part of a 4-way tie for 3rd place in a gigantic traditional forms division; got 4th for a VERY solid Bossai Sho. Did a near-perfect Sorengi Bo in another large weapons division that included black belts, and didn't place in that one.

Keegan won 3rd in 10 and under intermediate weapons (Quinn won 2nd, and Iqmal won 1st)


Garrett won second place in 8 and under beginner traditional forms
Nicholas won second place and Keegan won 1st place in 8-10 year old traditional forms
Quinn won 1st place in 8-10 year old intermediate traditional forms (Iqmal, below, won 2nd)
Elise won 1st place in 10 and up girls traditional forms


Cameron - 1st in 10-13 year old advanced traditional forms, and 4th in 10-13 year old advanced weapons

Weird new sparring rules - no one placed, but they did a good job!

Kristina got 1st place and Grand Champion in Adult Advanced Women's Sparring

Wendie got first place in 35+ Advanced Traditional Forms and third place in 35+ Advanced Women's Sparring

Jake got 3rd in 10-11 Intermediate Traditional Forms, 3rd in 10-11 Intermediate Traditional Weapons, and 3rd in 10-11 Intermediate Boys' Sparring

Yay!!! It was a very fun trip. (The samurai swords are the Grand Champion prize)
