Tuition and Discounts
We make martial arts training affordable for absolutely anyone who is committed to training! No matter your budget, we will work to find a tuition plan, discounts, scholarships or trades that will make training affordable for you. Just contact us after your Beginner’s Package month is over, and we will work out the details with you! Check out our SCHOLARSHIPS PAGE too.
All students start with the Beginner’s Package, which is $58 (includes their karate uniform, belt, training DVD and book, a private introductory lesson with Sensei Brian Sortor, and their first month of unlimited classes). After that, once your trial month has ended, you are welcome to choose any of our many tuition options. You will meet in the office to find one that fits your budget, training goals, and schedule. We also are happy to create special packages for those with special financial or schedule needs. The different tuition options vary greatly depending on a huge array of factors, discounts, scholarships, training schedule, etc.
All of our tuition options include unlimited classes. Without special scholarships, trades, discounts, etc. the price range for those plans is $85-$125/month depending on your tuition plan selection, but the vast majority of students (without scholarships or family discounts) pay around $95-$105/month for unlimited classes. Any additional discounts, scholarships, etc. would reduce the price from there. We also offer a punch card option for part time/inconsistent training, at $120 for 8 classes.

All students start off with our Beginner’s Package. The Beginner’s Package is just $58 and includes a full month of unlimited classes, a karate uniform and belt, training DVD and book, and a private lesson with a black belt sensei (which is required prior to starting the group classes). It’s everything you need to get started, all for one low price! Call 541.385.4985 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to sign up for your Beginner’s Package and schedule your introductory private lesson.
All tuition plans are flexible. We prorate monthly tuition if you/your child are out of training for a week or more in a month. We don’t make you pay for a full month if you aren’t training for a full month!
We are proud to offer discounts for the following people (and their children): Police, firefighters, military, people who work for nonprofits, school teachers, homeschoolers, seniors, college students, teens in ROTC, teens taking AP or IB classes, and local business owners. We also offer the senior discount to grandparents who pay for their grandkids tuition. Family members training together get a stepped-up discount system. Because of the tremendous benefit to our students of consistency in their training, significant discounts are available if you choose to make a commitment to training for 6, 9 or 12 months (even while still paying monthly), or for pre-paying for a year. No contracts or commitments are ever required; however making a commitment is another way to get an increased discount.
We offer a number of scholarships, both need and merit based. Please check out our scholarship information page for more details and do not hesitate to contact us at 541.385.4985 for more information or assistance.

PAY VIA PHONE:
We can accept credit card payments over the phone at 541-385-4985 during limited business hours, or just text us at that number any time, and we will call you to take your payment over the phone as soon as someone is in the office.
To pay online, simply follow these steps:
1. Log in to your account at www.PayPal.com (if you do not already have a PayPal account, creating one is free and only takes a few minutes)
2. Once you are logged in to your account, click “Send Money”
3. Send the amount of your invoice to email@example.com. You may use your credit/debit card, PayPal balance, bank account or any other method of payment allowed on PayPal. (If you need to confirm what amount you owe, just call 541.385.4985 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.)
You will receive an email confirmation from PayPal and from the dojo.
While it is never required, some students find it convenient to leave their credit card on file with us so that any time they text or email us, we can process a payment for them without getting their information. Upon request, we can also do this automatically on the first of each month if that is more convenient.
Just stop by the office or email email@example.com to complete the required form.
